Sometimes grandmas get sick, and sometimes you are stuck changing their diapers while trying to plan a wedding that will meet all of their dreams and expectations.
It's times like these when world pandemics start and you find out who will truly stay beside you in the long run. You find the kind of people who will hold your hand at 3am when your cat dies, or the kind of man who still loves you when you are covered with snot because you everyone bought all the tissues thinking the world was ending. THESE are the people worth fighting for.
This is how I realized that I had already found my happily ever after amid all the chaos and strife. My wedding may have looked picture perfect, but I was only putting on a show for the people I loved. In the end, it became a self-fulfilling prophecy. I found my prince because of it. The people who loved me most saw all the stress that it took to put my wedding together and it ended up being the most beautiful event of my life and I will never be able to thank those I love and care about enough for helping me to achieve it! More importantly, my grandmother got her final wish because of everyone's joint efforts. She died happy and loved. I got my happy ending trying to help her get hers, what could be more beautiful than that?
